We’re having an intimate ceremony at Stockport Town Hall which starts at 2pm. If you’ve receieved an invite for this, please aim to arrive at 1.30pm.

After the ceremony, there will be some pictures taken and we’ll head back to Old Manor Farm for a brew and a breather before the reception starts.

The reception starts at 5pm, and we have the photographer until 7pm so if you want to be in the photos you best be early!

We’ll have food from around 6pm, with the odd speech here and there, and then the rest of the evening is for dancing, drinking, and having a good time!

It’s a May wedding, so who know’s what the weather’s going to do! We’re hoping to have a lot of the reception outdoors, but if the weather won’t let us we have indoors available too.

Think wedding – that’s the dress code. It would be lovely if everyone wore their brightest colours, but no pressure.

If you’re coming to the ceremony, you’ll need to find parking near Stockport Town Hall and walk – there’s a lot to choose from.

For the reception, the parking is very limited so if you live in Stockport or you’re staying in Stockport, please get a taxi.

If you can’t, the driver will need to drop passengers up at the house and then drive back down to the road to find the parking area we’ve suggested. Go to the ‘Find Us’ tab for more detailed directions.

Please specify who you’d like to bring along when you RSVP and we will let you know.

Generally speaking though, if we’ve never met them the answer is probably no.

For those of you who didn’t immediately recognise the address, the reception venue is Louis’ mum’s house.

We want to issue a huge thank you to Rachael and Roy for hosting us, and I’m sure you’ll all agree to treat their home with respect as we party the night away!

The food will be buffet styled, and there won’t be a seating plan or anything like that. We’re likely to have some Carribbean food, some BBQ food, and other bits to graze on. There will be more details closer to the day.

If you have allergies or intolerances, please let us know in advance.

If you’d like to bring a dish along, let us know what you’re thinking first, but the answer is probably go for it.

There will not be a bar as such, though we will be providing a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Feel free to bring along anything you’d like to drink.

Feel free to take photos of the wedding – we have a link for you to upload any pictures you take on the home page!

That said, please be mindful about what you share on social media.

Particularly, please do not post images of other people’s children without their parent’s explicit consent.

Please do not share images of our daughter on social media – no matter how cute she looks!

As you probably know, we are saving up for a deposit on our first home together. Any cash gifts towards this are welcome, but not expected.

We will have a card box at the reception where you can post any cards you might bring.

Let us know your other questions when you RSVP, or text Cat on 07460379007.
